conamore (con·amore) is a mixed media collection centered around love and its different forms, beginning and ending in the desert.

"the desert is many things, but above all, it's my driving energy. the people i do it for and the things i can't live without. that's my desert," says salvadei, a young director at the center of the californian neorealist movement. "it's also where this all started," he adds.

"i'm big on nature, so when i got here 3 years ago, it was the craziest thing i had ever seen. the mountains and the coast, meeting in a desert. a city of lights in the middle with mexican palms thrown on top. and that just felt mythical to me, so when we started working on this collection it just felt perfect. that's why it had to start here."

"conamore, ca" is the first chapter of a three part collection "running for at least a year, maybe more." the collection, according to salvadei, is a tribute to the things "that are bigger than us: family, freedom, heritage, love, life, legacy. the energy it gives me. my desert."
